Summer in Finland, Jyväskylä - Jyväskylän kesä 2013

Incredible this weather. It´s so hot! Normally I´m addict for sun. I love hot weather and I always stay in the beach as much I can, but at this moment, I don´t understand why, but I don´t hurry to the beach in the morning, even it´s under my terrace. This is unbelieved for me. This morning I told to my daughter, it was so hot last night, my daughter was suprised and said: "YOU say that!". I don´t even remember, how long time we have had this weather and summer is just beginning, it´s the 4th of June. All spring was very cold, lot of snow and same time we had so much sun and in sun, it was so warm. You can see pictures in that time, if you look what I have wrote before. Today it was more than +30 celsius in shadow.

Jyväskylä is a small, nice and developing city in western Finland (for me it´s more south than western or central). At this moment it´s very international. Every time when you are out, you can here Spanish, English, Italy, Persian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, etc. Population is only about 134 000, but it´s growing. We have many students here. In Jyväskylä you can enjoy for many things. Different sport, culture, shopping, many different events. All these around year. Don´t forget to try Finnish sauna. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sauna 

Maybe you know Alvar Aalto, famous architect who has lived here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alvar_Aalto  Many tourists come to see his products. We have also some good rally drivers from Jyväskylä area, for example Juha Kankkunen and Tommi Mäkinen. http://www.tommimakinen.com/mainpage.htm

The nature is amazing. We have beutiful and clean lakes and nature is green. This area calls "thousand lakes area". One lake we have in city centrum area, calls Jyväsjärvi and it continues Päijänne. In this time our nights are not dark and couple weeks later is "Midnight sun", natural phenomenon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midnight_sun 
Even we love our short summer so much, many people have some problems to sleep. Totally opposite as in winter time, when we have too much darkness. Then we stay at home and use candles. That´s nice too. All four seasons what we have, they´re wonderful, when it´s not too cold, raining and windy. I don´t hate many things in my life, but what I hate, I really hate to feel cold and I feel it very, very easy, that´s why I prefer to stay in other countries as much I can. But now.. now I enjoy for sunny and hot Finland, before I will continue my journey. Next stop is in Barcelona and it will be soon.
